Temenos extends an invitation to guests to embrace a milieu of stillness and simplicity, so as to listen anew to the needs of one’s body, mind and heart. Within our healing gardens are many private spaces for you to discover and where you can unwind and restore yourself.

Accommodation at Temenos Retreat

At Temenos we have 14 cottages offering a variety of accommodation. You have the choice of double or twin beds and bathrooms with a shower or a bath. All our cottages are en suite and have private patios and a fireplace. They are fully equipped for self catering. We also offer dinner, bed and breakfast packages.

Weddings at Temenos

Temenos is the ideal choice for an intimate, heartfelt wedding. Each wedding is tailor made to ensure that your celebration is unique and deeply personal. 
 
We have several options for your ceremony: 

• Our well loved garden chapel 
• In front of our duckpond teeming with birdlife
• In the warmth of our candlelit Well
• Beneath a canopy of trees at the centre of our spiral
• The formal lawn in front of the library

 
For your reception we offer: 

• An al fresco feast in our restaurant garden beneath a canopy of Cape Ash trees
• Our elegant restaurant offering a gourmet menu
• The intimacy of our poetry room for smaller weddings

Temenos is the ideal place to take time out to retreat. Our beautiful gardens offer a contemplative milieu to support your embrace of inner stillness and silence. Wellness at Temenos

Temenos offers you a great opportunity to come and gently nurture yourself. Slow down gently and breathe in deeply the fresh, clean air of McGregor. During your stay we can arrange gentle early morning walks and a Yoga class. If you are hoping to instil a sense of quietness within yourself you are welcome to join our daily silent meditation sessions. Billy, Christiaan and Team look forward to welcoming you to our eateries at Temenos Retreat. Come to relax a while whilst enjoying all day light dining and breakfast at Out of Africa Café or enjoy a relaxed, focused dining experience at Tebaldi’s. 

Temenos provides a nurturing environment for one to collect one’s thoughts and find clarity. Our two dining spaces support this ethos. Placing our guests first, we believe in supporting local economy and producers with particular favour to those producers and suppliers who are taking a regenerative approach that benefits people, well-being of animals in the food chain and soil health.
